All About Brian Blog

We've been so busy lately. Brian's work schedule has been all crazy until they hire a new designer. Hopefully, it will go back to normal by the beginning or middle of August. He had last week Thursday off and then worked Friday through Monday. Now he had today, Tuesday, off and he also has tomorrow off. Then, it's back to work on Thursday-Saturday. I still had to work today and also tomorrow, but it's nice to come home and have him be here in the evening. We don't get too many of those together.
Today, he spent time with his friend Norm who does set construction in the "Biz." He is a master craftsman and cabinet maker. Last Thursday, Brian had dreamed up the plans of a small side table/desk/hutch thingy that he wanted for beside his easy chair. Together, they made the dream come true after spending several hours on it. It looks fantastic and is extra special since it is all personalized.
Tomorrow, he is playing in a golf tournament.
By the way, yesterday Brian turned in his proposal for the job promotion to his editor. We continue to pray for the Lord's will in that. It will probably still be a couple more weeks before we know. Thank you for praying.
Moving on to the mundane, we had Asian for dinner tonight and tomorrow we'll barbecue a London Broil. I made my cucumber salad (tonight. it's better if it sits for a day) for the barbecue tomorrow, but it's just for me since, sadly, Brian doesn't like it. He doesn't know what he's missing. He's pretty good about liking most things, but he's anti coconut, lemon, and some things having to do with Mayonnaise. Now how many of you knew that? This is why I like blogging. I get to choose what to talk about. This blog is turning into the all about Brian Blog. But that's because... I'm all about him.
