Last week, Karen's dad came for a visit from WA. The highlight was a day at the Tiger Woods Chevron World Challenge golf tournament. This is a pictures of us with our passes around our necks before we left.
There has been so much snow in Tacoma! It's highly unusual. So, last Saturday, when Dad was supposed to fly back, Mom called that morning and encouraged him to get an earlier flight since another storm was coming in that night. It's a good thing he got the earlier flight because his original flight and subsequent flights for quite a few days were all canceled. He may have had to drive to San Jose with us for Christmas!
Last Monday, Brian and I had our own special "Christmas." We usually try to have one with just the two of us
Tuesday, we both had one last day of work before the holiday. When Brian got home that night, we got in the truck and started our drive north to San Jose. When we got to Castaic, the five freeway was a parking lot. We got off and took the 126 over to the coast. That was a smooth ride. Poor Brian had so much coffee in him that by the time we settled down into bed at 3:00AM, he couldn't get to sleep!
