What's that sound?

Yesterday morning, I had just recently showered and had just finished getting dressed. All of the sudden, I started hearing a really strange noise. I figured out it was rushing water and since I had just taken a shower, I thought our pipes must be doing something really weird. After listening a moment to track down where the sound was, I thought, "It can't be. Could it? No!" Peeking out the window, I saw that it really was raining. I couldn't believe it. When was the last time it rained here? I have NO idea. It's been months and months. I ran outside to enjoy it and to pull a few things off our patio. Sadly, the rain stopped after only three minutes. It didn't come back and it was about 100 degrees yesterday.
